چکیده

In most supersymmetric theories charginos, χ̃1,2, belong to the class of the lightest supersymmetric particles. The chargino system can be reconstructed completely in e+e− collider experiments: e+e− → χ̃i χ̃j [i, j = 1, 2]. By measuring the total cross sections and the asymmetries with polarized beams, the chargino masses and the gaugino–higgsino mixing angles of these states can be determined accurately. If only the lightest charginos χ̃1 are kinematically accessible in a first phase of the machine, transverse beam polarization or the measurement of chargino polarization in the final state is needed to determine the mixing angles. From these observables the fundamental SUSY parameters can be derived: the SU(2) gaugino mass M2, the modulus and the cosine of the CP–violating phase of the higgsino mass parameter μ, and tanβ = v2/v1, the ratio of the vacuum expectation values of the two neutral Higgs doublet fields. The remaining two–fold ambiguity of the phase can be resolved by measuring the normal polarization of the charginos. Sum rules of the cross sections can be exploited to investigate the closure of the two–chargino system.

Virtual Effects of Split SUSY in Higgs Productions at Linear Colliders

In split supersymmetry the gauginos and higgsinos are the only supersymmetric particles possibly accessible at foreseeable colliders like the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the International Linear Collider (ILC). In order to account for the cosmic dark matter measured by WMAP, these gauginos and higgsinos are stringently constrained and could be explored at the colliders through their di...

Single chargino production at linear colliders

We study the single chargino production ee → χ̃μ at linear colliders which occurs through the λ121 R-parity violating coupling constant. We focus on the final state containing 4 leptons and some missing energy. The largest background is supersymmetric and can be reduced using the initial beam polarization and some cuts based on the specific kinematics of the single chargino production. Assuming ...

Mass and Cross-section Measurements of Chargino at Linear Colliders in Large tan β Case

The lighter chargino pair production (ee → χ̃+1 χ̃−1 ) is one of key processes for determination of supersymmetric parameters at a linear collider. If tanβ is a large value, the lighter stau (τ̃ 1 ) might be lighter than the χ̃ ± 1 , while the other sleptons stay heavier. This case leads a cascade decay, χ̃±1 → τ̃ 1 ντ followed by τ̃ 1 → χ̃1τ, where χ̃1 is the lightest supersymmetric particle. This pape...

Chargino and Neutralino Production at ee Colliders in the Complex MSSM: A Full One-Loop Analysis

For the search for charginos and neutralinos in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) as well as for future precision analyses of these particles an accurate knowledge of their production and decay properties is mandatory. We evaluate the cross sections for the chargino and neutralino production at e+e− colliders in the MSSM with complex parameters (cMSSM). The evaluation is based on...

CHARGINOS AND NEUTRALINOS AT ee LINEAR COLLIDERS

In the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) the light chargino χ̃±1 and the two light neutralinos χ̃01 and χ̃ 0 2 are expected 1 to be among the lightest supersymmetric particles. The lightest neutralino χ̃01 is commonly assumed to be the lightest SUSY particle (LSP), stable in the R-parity conserving case, and invisible. The chargino and neutralino masses are given in terms of the fundamen...
